Every night is a party night at DOONFEST! This year theres another diverse range of musical styles all sure to get your toes tapping, your hips swinging or whatever else ye feel like movin tae the grooves!! Have you stamina for 2 nights of fantastic music in a party tent atmosphere? Only one way tae find out! FRIDAY 4TH JULY
VOYAGE The Abba Tribute is an explosive show packed with all your favourite Abba Hits, sensational singing, mesmerising choreography and authentic costumes. As seen on TV, they are one of the most glamorous young Abba Tributes out there bringing back ABBA as they were in their heyday – gorgeously leggy 70s icons!
Colonel Mustard & the Dijon 5 are one of Scotland’s premier party bands and a musical party machine from Glasgow with a trademark irrepressible bouncing beat, with references to techno, funk and whole lot more hot stuff! Expect the unexpected when they take the stage and prepare to be engaged!!
The Peas (Original Rockabilly Black eyed variety!). Celebrating 40 years of rockin an a rollin across Ayrshire and doon many long dusty roads, with tunes to get you jivin an janglin, this rock solid trio will take you on a journey with rollin, rockabilly rhythms. Get on board and haud on tae your stetsons!
SATURDAY 5TH JULY
THE BLUEBELLS are very much back and blooming! With 'In the 21st Century' their new album and a full band line up performing new and also classic tracks with verve and craft expected of one of Scotlands foremost iconic pop bands. Sing your heart out with a band who are truly young at heart!
Scotland’s ska godfathers, a live music institution that has been tearing up stages and speed limits since back in the 1990s when boy bands roamed the earth. Combining a DIY punk ethic and big band showmanship, their live shows are the stuff of legend. Whether you call it ska or Scottish Death Reggae, nobody does it better.
With fresh spirited arrangements of both original and traditional tunes, Glasgow based folk band LUSSA (Latin for ‘light) create a unique sound and style from the varied musical backgrounds of its members, bringing a rich taste of tradition from Scotland and further afield. Let there be Lussa!
