About Doonfest

The annual DOONFEST festival is just one of the aspects of the activities of this East Ayrshire village's groundbreaking charitable community programme. You can read more about it here.

Set amidst the calm beauty of the middle of Ayrshire the village of Dalrymple is a perfect place to spend some time away from it all.

DOONFEST was established in 2017.

DOONFEST itself takes place on the area of rough grazing gifted to the community to be used for the communities benefit.

The festival is organised by a small team of enthusiastic locals with support from others. It is fully insured and has appropriate licenses from the local council as well as having qualified first aiders and 24 Hour vetted and qualified security staff and facilities on site.

It has many facilities setup to ensure that festival goers have a fulsome and enjoyable experience. Come along and see for yourself!

Whilst some areas of the festival are wheelchair accessible please bare in mind that it is staged in a field!
